Nestled within the beautiful natural landscape of Ella, the Ecolodge offers a unique blend of value and comfort. Our stay, while brief, provided a lovely glimpse into the kind heart of Sri Lankan hospitality-Sampath, the host, was consistently attentive and even ensured our early departure was smooth. The charming treehouse was a delight, featuring a cozy sitting area and a terrace that opened up to breathtaking views of towering trees and wildlife. It's perfectly positioned, a mere five-minute walk from the train station and nearby restaurants. Complimentary breakfast includes hearty local fare-a great way to fuel your explorations! Though we only stayed for two nights, I suggest giving yourself more time to fully appreciate the hiking opportunities and relaxed ambiance. If you're seeking a balance between luxury and value, the Ecolodge stands out as a remarkable choice for a quiet escape in this enchanting region.
